Bylaws

HLA's bylaws are the association's governing document. They set out the governance structure, the classes of membership, the terms of officers and directors, the establishment and charge of each standing committee, and the procedures for nominating and electing the Board at the Annual Meeting.

Every standing committee described on the Committees page draws its charge from these bylaws, and the Bylaws & Elections Committee is responsible for keeping them current and for supervising the election process they define.
