Community Service: Blackshear Garden Project
The Houston Lawyers Association is calling on volunteers to support the Blackshear Garden Project Service Day!
This impactful initiative supports Blackshear Elementary School’s hands-on agricultural education program in partnership with EriRene Farms and the DYAD Program.
Volunteers will help strengthen a growing school-based food distribution effort designed to provide fresh produce to local families while expanding STEM, nutrition, and environmental education for students in grades 3–5. The project aims to serve 50 families this year, with plans to reach up to 200 families in future seasons.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, to assist with the Blackshear Garden.
