Al Benoit is Owner of Benoit Law, PLLC, a full-service law firm in Houston, Texas. His firm represents individuals and corporate clients with a focus on civil litigation, business transactions, and personal injury law. Prior to opening Benoit Law, Al worked as an associate at the law firm of Haynes and Boone, LLP in Houston, Texas where his general focus was centered on public company acquisitions and business transactions.
Al earned his Juris Doctorate degree at Thurgood Marshal School of Law where he graduated with honors. Al is the President-Elect for the Houston Lawyers Association 2016-17. He is a proud member of the Texas State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the National Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Lawyers Association, and he serves on several other boards and committees with various organizations in the community.

Robin L. Burgess has practiced law for over 12 years and currently serves as an Administrative Law Judge with the Texas Department of Insurance – Division of Workers’ Compensation. Prior to her current service as an Administrative Law Judge, Robin joined one of the Nation’s largest disability firms where she served as the Senior Attorney, in their Houston office. Robin began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, where she served the People of Bronx County for nearly 5 years.

Robin received her Juris Doctor from the CUNY School of Law in New York and has served as a presenter of continuing legal education (CLE) courses. Robin is active in the local bar community and is a member of the Association of Women Attorneys. Robin is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New York.

In addition to her bar service, Robin also maintains active membership in numerous civic and social organizations, including, the NAACP, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she continues to serve on the executive board and chair of various committees.
